Battling COVID-19, one Facebook post at a time
When it comes to the COVID-19 pandemic, facts and honesty (along with a few hundred million doses of vaccine) are the best medicine. And when it comes to advertising, speaking to our target in a relatable and human way leads to more effective communications. That’s why we’re immensely proud of our work for Mount Nittany Medical Center.
Over the past year, we’ve blanketed the Medical Center’s Facebook feed with straight-forward facts and attention-grabbing creative related to all manner of pandemic-related topics — from busting myths about the COVID-19 vaccine to offering tips for preventing the spread of COVID to offering updates (even when the news isn’t good) about COVID-19 hospitalizations.
Our COVID social media efforts — among other work for Mount Nittany Medical Center — grabbed nine trophies in the annual Healthcare Ad Awards. It’s a much-appreciated recognition, but knowing that our work is helping to battle misinformation, boost vaccination rates and possibly even save lives is an even better reward.
