Sharing Some Love

Like the old proverb “The shoemaker’s children always go barefoot,” it’s typical for agencies that are so involved in promoting their clients’ brands and products to overlook this activity when it comes to promoting their own work. Yet, it’s essential for agencies to differentiate themselves by doing just that.

So we hope you’ll visit the brand-new website for our Pavone agency, as it is now much more reflective of our current strengths and capabilities (with new sites for quench and Varsity to follow).

At PMG, we also submit our creative and other work for selected awards recognition, and are honored to have earned a great many during our almost 30-year existence (including two dozen during 2020 alone). Additionally, we continually seek opportunities for PMG talent to offer their insights through published contributions, industry panels and in judging various industry awards. The latter activity allows them to share their expertise as well as gain exposure to how other agencies are working today on behalf of other companies.

Recently, several PMG staff have been recognized for their experience and creative expertise, either by prominent industry outlets or by serving as judges for various competitions:

* Executive Creative Director Bill Starkey, who was just selected by GDUSA as one of its recommended “People to Watch,” recently served as a judge for the ANA (Association of National Advertisers)’s International Echo Awards, which celebrate exceptional data-inspired strategy, creative, and results. Bill has recently added the Rochester, NY and Eastern Tennessee regions to his extensive experience in judging AAF (American Advertising Federation) ADDY awards in other U.S. regions/cities.

* Creative Director Gabrielle DeNofrio recently served as a judge of the Western Michigan region AAF awards, and also wrote this insightful piece about how creative individuals and teams can best adapt to the changed dynamics of what it means to work together, but apart.

* Finally, we’re excited for copywriter Sam Renner to be selected as a judge for the Telly Awards, honoring excellence in video and television across all screens, and to represent PMG in this exciting competition.

None of what we do is possible without the people – those who make up the PMG family, the people for whom we are proud to call our client partners, and for all the third parties, for family, friends, and furry companions. All who give the love and support for us to keep doing what we do. We are truly honored.
