PMG adds third ECD in a month with Pavone creative lead, Peter Harris

Marking the third executive creative director hire in the past month for Pavone Marketing Group, PMG has added Peter Harris as ECD for Pavone.

In his role as the agency’s creative lead, Peter will enhance the shop’s overall creative output, assist with new business development, and oversee work for a variety of clients. Peter will also oversee PMG’s new content studio.

His arrival comes at a time when Pavone and Pavone Marketing Group are growing fast, in terms of their team members, clients and offices — including new spaces in New York and Atlanta, where Harris will be based.

“Peter’s arrival accomplishes a key objective connected to our growth,” said Pavone President and CEO Michael Pavone. “He meets the modern demands for bigger, better, more impactful digital, social and content-driven thinking, and he has the experience and pedigree needed to meet those demands.”

Harris’ career is notable for its wide range of experience, including stints at Apple in Cupertino, Ca., Leo Burnett in Chicago, Code and Theory in New York, Publicis Groupe NY, and Scout in Atlanta.

Harris has handled everything from award-winning broadcast TV campaigns to social stunts featured on the Today Show, for brands including Citi, Esurance, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, Farm Rich, SeaPak, McDonald’s, Wonder Bread and Apple. During his career, Harris’ work has been recognized by the Effies, One Show, ADDYs, Midas, and FCS Best in Show.
