Pavone Group hosts 2024 ICOM North American Regional Meeting
North America’s best and brightest independent advertising agency leaders will converge on the City of Brotherly Love for the 2024 ICOM North American Regional Meeting with Philadelphia’s Pavone Group serving as host.
The three-day event, themed “The State of Independence,” will take place on September 17-19 and will include agencies from the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
ICOM is a global network of independent advertising and marketing agencies joined together in the goal of bringing people around the world closer to brands through the connected thinking and shared resources of its member agencies. Membership includes more than 80 agencies in 60 different countries.
For Pavone Group – an ICOM member since 2018 with offices in Philadelphia’s historic Cast Iron Building on Arch Street – the decision to host was an easy one.
“Being a member of ICOM is valuable in so many ways, and to serve as host and welcome these agencies to the city is an honor,” said Pavone Group CEO Michael Pavone. “The network provides our independent agencies with boots on the ground partners with experience in countries and markets around the world. This allows us to confidently market our clients brands on a global scale with the peace of mind that only a vested partner can offer. It also allows a global perspective on customer needs and trends, which is critical for brands that aim to expand into new markets.”
The agenda for the 2024 ICOM North American Regional Meeting includes a variety of team-building and educational events throughout the city of Philadelphia on the first day. Day two features a presentation by Lewis Communications partner Carlton Wood about how agencies can build effective new business programs and a session about artificial intelligence from Supernatural AI co-founder and CEO, John Elder.
Day three is anchored by Karl Lieberman, global CCO of Wieden+Kennedy, who will lead a discussion about “The Counterintuitive Nature of Running an Independent Agency.” The meeting will conclude with its annual Bright Business Ideas (BBI) Awards, which recognize the ideas that have had a positive and lasting impact on agency businesses.
